The writers of the 1st , 2nd and 3rd placed poems each receive a certificate, a copy of the “Bullets & Daffodils” Soundtrack CD and a copy of the “Pendle War Poetry Competition – Selected Poems” 2012 book, in which their poems will be included.
The Highly Recommended entries will also receive a certificate and their poems will be included in the book.
If any of the prize winners are able to attend, the prizes will be presented and the winning poems read out at a special presentation evening to be held at the ACE Centre in Nelson on Thursday 18th October on the occasion of the East Lancs Première of the Bullets & Daffodils show, in the presence of the Mayor of Pendle, local MPs and other dignitaries.
Competition winners will be contacted individually regarding the Presentation Evening.
